EBS Uploader is a private tool that uploads videos to the Explained by Simulation YouTube channel on behalf of that channel's owner. It is the only account the tool is used with.
What it accesses
With the owner's permission, through the YouTube Data API, it uploads videos to the owner's channel, adds caption tracks to them and reads back the status of those uploads. It does not read, collect, store or share data about viewers or any other YouTube users.
How access is kept
The sign-in key the owner granted is stored encrypted as a private secret and is used only to upload the channel's own videos. It is never sold, shared or used for advertising.
Removing access
The owner can remove the tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Google policies
Use of YouTube data follows the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
